Askeladden is launching a new, large Daycruiser and Weekend Cruiser for the Nordic market
The daycruiser market in the Nordic countries is divided into three distinct segments

  • Daycruiser boats with the option for a few overnight stays
  • Weekend boats with extra comfort
  • Weekend boats and cruisers with full comfort for longer stays

The C80 Cruiser is a weekend boat with extra comfort, but the design focus is still on optimising use of the boat as a daycruiser!

Cockpit and facilities

The cockpit is the most important part of a large, functional and successful daycruiser and weekend boat!

The C80 Cruiser has the same cockpit layout and size as its big sister, the C83 Cruiser, and is mainly designed for the cruiser segment of the daycruiser market.

The cockpit is large, flexible and functional, with both sunlounger and seating facing the bathing platform.

Below deck, there is plenty of space and comfort for daytrips and weekend trips. The C80 Cruiser can sleep four persons and has a large, spacious toilet room below deck.

The customer decides whether to fit out the boat for daycruising or for weekend trips.

Hull, comfort and fuel economy

We have continued to build upon our successful concept with our optimized two-step hull, integrated engine bracket and deep V-shaped bottom.

Driving performance, sporty qualities and comfort are top priority in daycruiser and weekend boats. This type of step hull with integrated engine bracket eliminates almost all the planing threshold, reduces the need for engine power, increases top speeds and improves fuel economy.
